Title Page and Learning Target Checklist
Task 1: Periodic Table Coloring Sheet. (2/2/24)
Grab a copy of the Periodic Table of Elements from Mr. Tanner or print one out by creating your own copy of the Google Doc below. Follow the instructions on the Google Doc to correctly color your periodic table. When it is colored, tape it into the next blank page of your science notebook.
Task 2: Atoms and Molecules Notes (2/5/24)
Grab a copy of the note sheet from Mr. Tanner or print out your own version by clicking on the picture of my notes below. Use the attached slideshow to complete your notes.
Task 3: Build an Atom (pHet Simulation) (2/5/24 - 2/6/24)
Click the link below for your class period to open the assignment in Google Classroom. The pdf file in Google Classroom will walk you through properly setting up the online tool. The Google Doc, contains all of the questions that you need to answer. Read all of the questions carefully and use the pHet simulation to help you answer all of the questions.

Task 5: Bill Nye Heat Transfer (2/7/24)
Grab a copy of the Bill Nye Heat note sheet from Mr. Tanner or print out your own version by clicking on the picture of my notes below. Use the attached slideshow to complete your notes.
Task 6: Phase Change Gizmos (2/8/24)
Click the link for your class period below to access the assignment in Google Classroom. From there you will use the linked Explore learning Gizmos to answer all of the questions in the Google Doc. Turn in the assignment when you are done.
Task 7: Convection Current Notes (2/8/24)
Grab a copy of the reading and notes from Mr. Tanner or print one out of your own by clicking the image of the notes below. Read the one page of information about convection currents and use the information to fill in the notes. Finally, you need to draw a convection current in the space provided.
Task 8: Heat Lab Stations (2/9/24)
Click the link below for your class period to access the videos of each lab station. You can use the videos to complete the lab station document on Google Classroom.
Task 9: Phase Change Game (2/12/24)
Click the link for your class period below to access the assignment in Google Classroom. Open the attached link and log in with Google. Try your best to complete all 15 levels.
Task 10: Study Guide for Properties of Matter Exam (2/13/24)
Click the image of the study guide below to print out your own copy. Use your notes, assignments, and gimkits that we used in class to complete the study guide.
Task 11: EdPuzzle Mystery of Matter (2/16/24)
Click the link for your class period to watch the video in EdPuzzle. As you watch the video you will need to answer the questions when they pop up.
